Default Choosing between exhaust brands?

Looking at leaving the 2 and 2 setup to go to 2 into 1 for performance gains. 06 Heritage Softail classic FI.

Its down to the V&H Propipe 2 into 1; Sampson, and Rinehart.

Does anyone have in verifiable results in torque gains with these. I know it's going to increase, but some ads state a 20% increase in the power curve which seems to be a lot for just an exhaust upgrade.

I've also read some forums giving Sampson a bad rep in customer service and quality of the product, but everyone has a bad experience with a company at one time or another so I trying not to let that weigh in too much.

I'm more interested in durabilty, looks, and overall performance and sound.

Can anyone chime in?

I go for looks more than anything as you gain only a little, If it were me pick one that looks good to you..The more engine work that you have done the pipe is more important. The other thing to think about is the rpm's where you ride most of the time there isn't that much of a gain...JMO

I'm not sue if Rush makes what you're looking for but they offer quality parts and customer service that is second to none. I doubt you'll find anyone who hasn't had great results and exceptional service after the sale if a problem arises. http://www.rushracingproducts.com/

FWIW, the D&D Fat Cat 2 into 1 exhaust has been known to be a good performance exhaust too.

I know you've selected the brands you want to choose from, but take a look at the Rush 2:1 pipes. I think they are the best looking ones out there, and the performance is very good.

when I threw my 2:1 on my stock 96" I was surprised. Before hand I would never think about using 6th gear at 60 mph. Bike definitely pulled better. The noticeable difference will be in the mid range torque. Ive always liked the sound of the 2:1's

You should also check out Frank Drago Exhaust (built by Rush), and RB Racing. On the Drago pipe, the headers are ceramic coated internally and externally. Really knocks down the heat. They also offer several baffle sizes to choose from. And they are very reasonably priced.
RB Racing is a quality pipe, and on the upper end of the price scale. But you definitely get what you pay for.

Here's my Heritage on the Drago website...

That pipe is from the Drago website. Here's the Rush website. Just click on the blue part numbers on the right to see how they'll look. Good luck...
