Default Tour pack on a softail

Has anyone purchased off e-bay the tour pack? If so have you mounted it on a softail?

Thanks

I was going to put a tour pack on my 97 Springer but I was told that it could affect the balance of the bike. So we still use the big T-Bags.

Not sure I believe about the balance issues but I would think if you do have too much weight on the back, your front wheel tends to float a bit.

Is there a difference between a Tour Pak purchased off e-Bay and a Tour Pak purchased someplace else?
I wouldn't think.

Many people have them installed.
My bike doesn't handle any different with or without it.
