I went to the exhange car sales people on my base today and they mentioned that Harley is planning on doing a military scheme for a 2015 bike. Was informed the top bike is the Slim. Does anyone here have any info on this?

 

While doing a search on google I found these on ebay. they came out in 2000 to 2006 for Softail Fatboy. Harley came out with a different paint for each branch of military. Couldn't find anything on the '15 edition that I was told about.

I would be curious to see what the MoCo would come up with in terms of paint.

Back when I was active on the Sportster forum there was a member, Rog48, who had is Sporty in a nice military scheme.

 

Anybody know if its possible to make those tins fit a newer bike?

 

I flirted with the idea of repainting my SG the same color as the MARINE ONE Presidential Helicopter. Getting the paint code wasn't possible and I even know some Marines in HMX-1 Presidential Helo Squadron. I know I could have gotten it close but I'm a freak for perfection on things like that so I dropped that idea.

Not sure about these paint schemes. I think if your spending that kind of cash come up with your own theme. Any talented painter can take your ideas and run with them and create your own personal look.
