Default question

Could you please tell me the difference between these Heritage Springer Saddlebag guards and a regular Softail Saddlebag guards?

Is it the difference in the radius using the special Springer Bags or is it something special on the frame? I thought the rear frames were identical with regular Softails? All that is different is the front end?

Thank you in advance for your time.

Let me know if you still are willing to purchase, and sorry for the late response.

Hi sorry for the late response, the difference primarily is the styling and size of the over all guards. These are the most sought out guards available for the softail (at least from what I've seen on the forums,) in my honest opinion these guards compliment the softail lines much better then some of the other smaller guards.

I'm interested, but unable to PM. New to the site, and don't have the privilege yet. You can email me: hifiho@yahoo.com

Are they mounted on your Deluxe in your signature photo? I'm putting Road King bags on my Deluxe, and I'm in if they'll FIT. If possible, maybe you can email me (or post) some photos of the mounting points and some dimensions.

Thanks in advance.
-David.

I've read on a couple of post now- that these will interfere with the "Bagger Tail", and other brackets of similar design. I'm still waiting on the bags to arrive. I haven't ordered the conversion brackets yet. It's possible that I'll fabricate my own brackets, which would allow provision for your bag guards. But I'll pass for now. Although now that I've seen a few photos of the way the bag guards, I have a bit of an idea how I'll need to route the brackets.
Good luck with your sale.

Default Springer Saddlebag Guards

I see what you have now for sale, and like someone else said, its a very rare part for Springers. I have a springer but its a Dark Custom (Crossbones) so I would ruin it by powder coating it. So that's why I failed to make an offer. Figured it would be go to the best use first.
