Tins are finally in and at the paint shop, should be back within the week. Parts are ready & reassembly begins the day the tins get back.
Arm is healing quite nicely, played a 6 hours Mardi Gras gig on the drums with no problem!

Good deal XMXER,need to ride up and see your shop. You're only an hour from me.You guys wouldn't believe how clean XMXER'S bike is.It still smells new.Nice to see how well it's been treated.
Good to hear you're healing up 97.Hope you're comfortable in the saddle when you get it back. Gonna be another year before I can get my ride as clean as everyone's on here. In the meantime I'm gonna ride the hell out of it. G.

Hey guys,
I've got a 95 BB. The PO hacked up the risers. I went through the entire H-D dealer network and turned up only one. Any of you have an idea where I can get another? Thanks.

Can't order them anymore? I'd bet there are other risers in the HD parts bin that would work. What about the risers from the X-Bones?

No longer made by H-D, so I'm beating the bushes trying to turn up just one. If I can't get one, I'll probably try the crossbones route. Just hate to lay out the money for them and find they won't work. My only other option would be buy chrome, which H-D stills makes, and powder coat them black.

.

They (black risers that will work) turn up on e-bay all the time. Look under "Harley Davidson Springer" if you drill down to Bad Boy, you'll miss them cause' they don't list them that way.

Most sellers don't know Bad Boy parts from regular springer parts
