That is one beautiful machine there, steelhorse. I haven't seen you here before. I'd say you can post those big pics hereany time you want. Mine is an 07 in deep cobalt as well. I hadto search forone in that color, but it was worth the wait.

I picked up my bike today after having the saddlebag hardware installed and my rear fender fixed from them droppin' my sissy bar on it, and I'll be takin' it back up there tomorrow. What they did to "fix" the area that was messed up was not acceptable. It's still quite obvious the fender was messed up. They're going to need my bike for 2-3 weeks they said, so the fender can be sanded down and repainted. I'm gonna miss not havin' a bike, but I think havin' it fixed right away is better than waitin' until the warm weather comes to stay. Hopefully the body shop can do a better job than they did at the dealer.

As far as the saddlebags go, they nice and big. The quality is really nice. I could easily pack for a week in those bags. They'll serve the purpose I want. I figure if I'm gonna need bags, I'm gonna want to load them down. I was originally going to leave them on my bike, but I think I'll just put them on when I need them. I'm not sure if I can get used to the look of my bike with saddlebags on it. Maybe eventually.

Steelhorse,
That's very nice. At first glance something didn't quite look right about your bike. Took me a couple of minutes to figure it out. You cut holes in the stock handlebars or replaced them with others that are the same shape and ran the wires inside them. Very slick, looks much better that way.
I'm in the process of changing mine and putting the Big Radius pipes on as well. So its nice to look at yours and see what mine might look like, but in black.

Odered the plain black seat with the standard back rest. I wanted to keep it more old school plus I figured it would hold up better with less care.

G'day Gang.
My bike has been out of the box for 3 months now so I thought I upload a couple of recent pics. She currently has 13397 kms on the odometer with another 500kms + going on this weekend. I wont list all the mods that have been done because it will take too long, suffice to say that the team at Mackay Motorcycles in Queensland Australia have really looked after me and the bike extremely well. Briefly the major bits were 21" Revolver Front Wheel, Chrome Front and Rear Brake Calipers, Chrome Fork Lowers and Swingarm, Chrome Inner Primary, Chrome bits all over the place, SEII Slip On mufflers, SE High Flow Air Cleaner and a PCIII. Anyway, here's the pics of the bike and the Mrs (Kathy) - I hope you like them................Cheers.............Chris

Ya those are the HD mini apes from the catalog.I got them from chicago hd because they sell 20% off online.I do wish they were a little wider at the base for a more traditional ape look. They really do clean up the front end.
