Default Memphis to Nashville: 3 options to avoid I-40

Planning a day's ride from Memphis to Nashville for next year June.
Looking at the map I see 3 options to avoid I-40.
In the image below please find route green, blue and red.
What would be your advice and why?
Thanks, René

Hwy 70 is a pretty enjoyable ride. Just takes longer but only if there are no major traffic delays on I-40 which are actually pretty common nowadays. Quickest route is 79 to Brownsville pick up 70 to here in Jackson and then pick up Hwy 412 to Lexington/Parsons which will turn into 100 near the Tenn river and goes into Nashville. 100 is also a very enjoyable ride from Linden over to Centerville.

well one of those routes is going to take you right through Shiloh, just sayin', but make sure you watch the original Walking Tall movie with Joe Don Baker before going through that part of the country,

the other route will take you through Hurricane Mills, home of Loretta Lynn's dude ranch. There's always something going on there.

Neither route goes through either of those places. Just nearby as a detour if wanted.

I agree with the Hwy 100 suggestion, just don’t get in a hurry near Centerville or Fairview.

if if you lie BBQ go this way and stop at Scott’s BBQ in Lexington. Don’t waste your time in Memphis on BBQ. Scott’s is on the right as you come in the Lexington. It is known all over for their Q.
