The 3rd Annual Hickory Smoke Barbeque Poker Run is proudly sponsored by Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson/Buell and will be held on Saturday, May 27, 2006. The entry fee for the poker run will be $15 per head. Registration will start at 9:00 am and the last bike will leave at 10:30am.

The Poker Run Route for this year will cover approximately 85 miles of North Carolina’s country roads. The Poker Run will start at Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson/Buell located at exit 125 on I-40, next to the Hickory Metro Convention Center. After leaving the dealership, the ride will take you to Alleycat Biker Junction in Denver. The next stop will be The Rock Garden in Lincolnton. The route then moves on to a favorite local spot, Shell’s BBQ and then to the final destination to enjoy the festivities at L.P Frans Stadium. This route should take each rider approximately
3 ½ hours to complete.

The cut off for the last bike in will be 3:30pm. The final card will be drawn at the Blue Ridge Harley-Davidson/Buell booth located on the festival grounds. There will be door prizes, and cash prizes will be awarded to the Best and Worst Hands. Winners will be announced between 4:00 and 4:30pm.

Upon arrival at the Festival, all Poker Run participants are encouraged to enjoy the food, fun and many activities offered.

All proceeds from the Poker Run will benefit the SBA’s selected charities for the festival.
