I'd be interested if there is no drinking alowed, I'm tierd of people using Christmas
and helping kids as an excuse to get drunk and ride a motorcycle, which is what
every toy run I've ever been to is..
My wife runs a Toys R Us store so we can and do alot for kids with out riding
motorcycles with people that drink and ride motorcycles.
The ride begins at Murphy's Scooter Shed. 114 Camelot Dr. in Kings Mtn. Registration is at 11 AM. Ride begins at 1 PM. He has free food, usually BBQ, live music. Just bring a new toy or a donation. Ride is escorted and usually last about 1 to 1 1/2 hrs. and ends back at the starting point.
Chuck I've been to this run for the last 3 yrs and I didn't see anyone drinking. If they are doing it, they keep it hid. This guy has put this on for I believe the last 12 yrs. I think everyone will enjoy it.
Yeah, it wouldn't be much fun riding in a group with a lot of drinking going on.
Maybe we can get a few together from the forums for a ride after the toy run since it only lasts an hour or so.
This is a Toy Run not a Beer Run. There are families and kids there. Heck my nephew will be riding with me since the wife has to work. Lot of our friends the police there too. Come on down and have a good time. You will not be disappointed.
Mr and Mrs. BadX are going to be there. I already know yoman but hope to meet some of you other guys from the forum also. This is our wedding annv weekend and have missed this toy run the past few year but this year have put the annv on hold for a week. We are meeting yoman in Lincolnton at the gas station in front of Lowes at 9:45 if anybody wants to join us there. We are meeting up with others along the way.
