Been to Charleston several times and never had any problems with parking. Cool place to visit, but its been a couple years since we were there. Since MB dumped on the bikers I really don't have much intrest to go any place in SC any more. We go to the outer banks of NC more now and to Florida around the gulf coast.

 

Chas has a lot of charm and history. Was not aware of the bike issue though. Never rode there always was with the family. Great place.

 

There is a small Harley t-shirt shop downtown by the 'market'. The woman
inside was very helpful and friendly. I would ask her about rides. Also, the Harley shop by the interstate would be a good source of info.

 

Go across the river into Mt. Pleasant. Cheaper Hotels. Check out Reds Ice House on Shem Creek or the Windjammer on The Isle Of Palms. Take a tour on the Yorktown Aircraft Carrier. Lots to see and do in that area. Charlston is cool but only if your in a cage.

 

never had a problem in Charleston on my bike. maybe you guys get your feelings hurt too easy.
