Do you know if the Kerrville/three sisters area is rideable? I was thinking about going this weekend (from Houston) and don't want to waste a trip if the roads are closed, washed out, have a bunch of debris, etc.

The area is getting rain now and will for a couple of days to come. I have property by Rio Frio and was there yesterday and FM 1120 is closed at the Frio River. One of the sisters is close by my property. Saw lots of other road closed signs in the area. If I were you I would wait until next weekend. The weather is supposed to break about Friday around there.

 

335 is closed until next month sometime. Drive Texas on the web will get you all of the closures and construction etc

 

Thanks for the replies - I either didn't know about or forgot about Drive Texas. Will look there next time, but sometimes the roads are open but still crappy.

 

I'm leaving for Medina Thursday morning. Going to the Texas Serenity Run, there are other roads over there that make for nice rides .
