That is a great video, and even though it is about 11 years old it is probably more accurate now than it was then.

Her testimony played a large part in passing the CCW law in Texas, and she later served 10 years in the State Legislature.

In the shooting she is talking about, 23 were killed and 20 injured before the guy took himself out. She showed remarkable composure discussing it.

 

I watched the reenactment of that massacre. I think it was on A&E or the History Channel, about a year ago. My wife was never keen about guns till we moved out here to the Wild Wild West. Now many times we will be some ware and she will be a little worried, then she asks Do you have your Gun? Its kind of like my American Express. Don't leave home without it. LOL

 

I hope she's still fighting. I fear with our present administration, we're going to need her.
