I'm looking to move to Midland Tx and I see there is a 15" height law there.
Is anyone beating this law?
Is anyone running bars higher than that in Tx?
My choppers fork is more than 15" over the seat!
Does anyone know any way around this bullshit?

 

Pretty much just be cool and don't give the cops any **** if you get pulled over. Never had any issues with my bars anywhere in Texas. Passed inspection the last 3 years also. I would say not to worry much.........

yeah i'm about 17" over my seat.. got pulled over last night.. it seems DPS are more worried about making sure you have a MC licenses... now smaller towns might give you hell but you'd have to be stiring up alot of hate and discontent lol

 

There are bikes all over the place with bars so high, it seems there arms would go to sleep. I live in the country outside of Ft Worth where we have some real ******* cops closeby - they even sit in sight of stop signs to make sure you do the 3-second stop. Never had a problem with any of them. I've found that if you don't try to bring attention to yourself, all is good.
