The bike came back from the dealership yesterday. They said the couldn't get the light to come on. Checked the pressure and it was at the correct psi. Could of been cause it's a brand new bike and only has 22 miles on it when it went in.

there is only a 2 things that can make the oil light come on 1 no/ or very low oil pressure 2. a faulty oil pressure sending system...the first will cause the engine to fail in a bad way within a very short time the 2nd will cause no issues to the bike, but may stress you out very quickly....is it possible that you stalled the motor or turned off the run switch will riding as those things will cause the oil light to illuminate...if not, I would not worry about it ...you took the bike to the dealer to have them look at the issue, so there is a record of there being an issue with oil pressure, Now if the bike acts up you are covered...Now, go ride the **** out of it and see if anything happens....

Nice looking bike Smitty. I have the exact same thing, same color.

No sensor issues here, but my engine makes some awful noise on the left side where the crankcase/xmission gears are located. I'm wondering if that's normal or if mine is suffering from some sort of lubrication problem, although the sensor light never comes on while it's running.

Congrats on the new ride!

Hopefully it's a sensor issue and not starving for oil. Intermittent problems are a pain. But you're under warranty, so if it happens again, take some pics and make them find it and fix it.

if there is 2 people on the motor cycle (front and rear) what do you call the one in control of the bike and what do you call the other one? When the cop pulls you over and asks who was driving, do you both say "I was riding"???
