I have the cobras with quite baffles which to me are as loud as the loud ones. Really can't tell the difference. They're pretty loud but not crazy.

I thought I'd resurrect one of my own threads.

Well, I installed the "quiet" baffles and thought it tamed the sound. Then I went I installed a set of Screaming Eagle Street Performance slip-ons early spring and thought they were a good compromise between stock and the Cobras. And then, .......wait, here it comes,......., I reinstalled the Cobras and really liked the sound.

I liked it so much I did the complete Stage 1. Liked that so much I just re-installed the original 2" baffles. Now I really like it. Gonna give it a few weeks to see if I tire of them, but I really can't tell as much of a difference as I thought I would. At idle they are a bit lower in tone. At speed they are louder, but not all that much.

So, I guess I should change my screen name to JerseyDick?

Later

PS - I guess to answer my own question - "How loud are my cobra slip-ons?" Answer - about right!

Since the thread has been brought back to life you may as well know, you didn't remove catalytic converters. They are in 2014 and newer exhaust systems.

Yep. Doesn't appear the EFI sporty prior to 2014 has cats.
