What are you trying to fix? The correct answer is probably both.

The front suspension is kinda weak............. After talking with people and threads on the forum, others have felt this pain too....

So, I have had some different opinions on this fix to a slightly stiffer front so it dosent bottom out so much or cave in when braking.....

one is the middle grade oil, which is one step up...........

OR....

use different springs.... the ones manufactured by the company Progressive.....

and i've seen these for only 85 bucks... plus labor and oil....

The heavy fork oil helped a little, but the springs made a big difference like alot parts on a sporty the springs and shocks are another area Harley cheaped out on. I did it at a friends house on his lift you need a special socket to remove the caps on the fork tubes he already had it don't remember the size. Took just over a hour to do.
