Default Control Extender Cables

Some time back I saw mention of a source for left and right control extender cables for the 04-06/7, but a search of the forum drew a blank. These were various lengths of the six wires with the male/female plugs for each side. I'm changing to taller and wider bars and not crazy about trying to patch in longer lengths to those 12 wires myself.

If anyone knows of a source, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks Matt, that's what I was looking for. It would be nice if they had the male/female plugs on the end, but those will do the trick and save a lot of cutting and soldering.

ronn39, I agreed soldering does take a lot of time and effort but worth it, I do not trust the butt connector myself. You might as well hide the wiring in the handledar, it looks way cleaner. Remember, you have to do it once only.

I think you can also get just the pin & socket connectors like the factory uses from Dennis Kirk. I solderd all mine when I did it and should've just spent the money and got the ext. to save the frustration. Personally I think the crimp on pin/socket connection with heat shrink do the job fine. I used them on all my boat wiring over the years with no problems.
