Default High Octane ?

Just curious to if anyone has ran a blend of 100 octane in there fuel? If you have what benefits did or were you able to see in doing so?

100LL Avgas will mess up the valve seals.
Not sure if you meant 100 octane race fuel or the Avgas. We used to have racers buy 100LL from us because it was cheaper then the race gas.
I see no good reason to run a vehicle with a higher octane then it was designed for if it runs well.

You may want to do a search. There are many threads and opinions on this issue. My take is that running a higher octane than recommended has no benefit and may be detrimental.

High octane is only required with high compression engines. There's no benefit if you have a stock setup. HD says to run 91 [or 92 depending on where you're located and what's available] octane for stock motors.

You'll lose power for every point of octane you go above what your motor needs. Lower is better as long as you're not detonating or getting preignition.
