I always run the premium 93. It's always worked for me with no pinging. I think octane boosters are overkill unless you have higher than stock compression.
Higher altitude reqiures less octane. I live in an area that is at about 400 ft. So, 93 octane is the norm. The fuels here typically skip from 89 to 93 octane with no 91 octane available. In the high plains (typical altitude is about 4000 ft.), 91 octane is fine. Maybe even 89, if it is available.
