Default Question about an used Iron 883 I am buying...

I am looking at a 2013 Iron 883 for sale at a dealer. I haven't seen it in person but plan to but it's a bit of a distance.

It only has about 1000-1100 miles on it.

But one thing I can't figure out is.. did the iron883 ever come with black stock exhausts?? I don't see any for any of the years except 2016 and they look different. I know it's not screaming eagle because those have holes on the pipes that connect to the mufflers.

I attached some pictures. If black wasn't an normal color (option maybe?) then it may be ceramic or powder coated? If so, maybe the bike was dropped.. can you see scuffs and such through powdercoat?

Also, the stator cover is chrome and I'm hoping that is the standard color for the 2013 sportster iron 883s.

here are the pics:

Its a reduced reach seat. Screaming eagles do, now, come without the crossover ports. At some point, not sure when, hd hid the crossovers in the header pipes.

Those pipes look like stock pipes in black. Noting to be concerned about.

Wait, that's not a stock seat for a 2013 iron? It looks like the seats I see on google. Never heard of a reduced reach seat.

So those pipes have been powdercoated/painted at some point then. No worries it was low sided and then painted to hide the damage?

I doubt it was dropped, somebody was just doing the right thing and blacking that Iron out like it was ment to be I personally like that seat.... Also heres a picture of some typical damage that you might be able to spot if a bike has been dropped hard. Look between the front fork where the steering stop is.

If you get that bike, you're gonna want to grab these fork covers too, it will look amazing with them.

Holy **** thanks for that. I just saw a bike the other day and it had 2 nuts on one of side of the stops. And the other side the clutch cable was frayed because it was making contact. I couldn't figure out what that was though.. now I know. The handlebar was crooked when i was riding it so I passed but thank god.
