Default dynojet target tune or dyno tune

I need some opinions. I debating on buying the target tune or having my bike dyno tuned after this round of engine work. I'm leaning towards the target tune.

Hammer will give you a good base tune, but it will need to be fine tuned after the break in.
Target Tune can be added after the final tune and Fuel Moto will set up the tune for Target Tune. Best of both worlds.

Got the base tune already. Just had a bad experience with getting it properly dyno tuned with my initial setup.

I know this is an old thread....but I debated using the Target Tune for a long time.

After installing it a few thousand miles ago....WOW!!!

I could not be more happy with it.

I, too, have seen way too much $ spent on mediocre/bad dyno tunes.

My Sporty is running Much stronger now with the Target Tune, AND it is getting better MPG. ...ANd it ran pretty strong before with just the basic auto-tune on top of a good base map.

Going to be getting it on a dyno soon to see how much better it is than this-

Chart from the basic auto-tune.

i ended up going with a dyno from a Indy. He had my bike for 3 days & charged me $275. He was very thorough & explained his process for tuning with data logging & running it on the dyno. My sheet is in the dyno sheet section. 101 hp 82 torque were the final #'s

A target tune will transform a Sporty. Not even close if you want to run closed loop.
