Question Small fork extension this winter

One of my possible winter mod ideas. no rake, "Frisco/NorCal style", 4-6 inches.

Is Forking by Frank still the best (despite Frank no longer being with us)? Assuming so, what info do I need when I call? Do I just need Year/Make/Model/Inches over or do I need exact length I want?

Difficulty level?

Lots of folks do 6 without issues. Its more noticeable than 4 but would require a longer kickstand I believe.

I put 2" over ( everyone looks and asks what different about the scooter ) on my FXEF and used "Forking By Frank" years ago. They still look like new.

Thoughts are towards 4". Afraid 6 will make the bike feel more top heavy than she already is.

4" will make a noticeable difference, way back when, we used 4" slugs because it was about the middle of the triple tree, the old guy that used to make them has passed now but we never had a problem.
I would never use them now,old and smarter

Interesting. Keep us updated on how this goes. Any example pics of where you're looking to end up? I've seen plenty of NorCals on another forum that is geared towards choppers, but I'd be curious to see what you specifically have in mind. Plus, they aren't too kind to the rubbermounts/EFI's over there...
