Default No primary inspection cover

My 2003 1200C doesn't have a primary inspection cover. I have read that you can't adjust the primary with the entire primary cover off and you can't access it with it on since without an inspection cover/opening there is no access to it with it on.

If you are intending to service your bike you really should buy a factory service manual, which will tell you all you need to do just that!

Either it's an aftermarket cover, or you have something really weird- post a pic.
try this and see if it looks anything like yours- # 16 is the inspection cover.

It should have one on the left side, right above the shifter. Two torx bolts hold it on.

Also re-read his post. Of course you can't access it with it on.

Well since the OP hasn't replied at all, I'm assuming you are correct.

Check his profile, he has his PM's blocked. He's also 65 y/o. I'm sure he came from a Honda forum as a joke.

It appears to be an aftermarket cover. I see they sell them on eBay. Why would someone go to all the trouble of making a cover without an access opening?

What do I need to do now?

PS. I'm not a troll, and I have the Haynes manual. Yes, I am 65 and have lived long enough to know not to jump to conclusions.
