Default Need help with tighening up rear tail light

Hey everyone,

My son has an 883 Iron that has the bullet turn signals/brake lights on the rear from the factory. The round housing is loose and moves freely from the part that bolts to the frame. The frame/oval housing is tight and it still has lots of play. Is there a fastener inside the round housing that is possibly loose? If so how do I get to it. I pulled out the light bulb but didn't see a way to get the guts out of the housing. Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Here is a diagram that may help. Knowing what year and model may help along with pics.

There are on-line parts websites, like this one that will help you see if there is anything missing, also better understand how the factory built your bike. For genuine H-D aftermarket accessories look at the Shop tab on their website, where you can see fitting instructions and other details.

If you lok on the inside of the back fender, there should be a bolt there that holds the signal(s) on. Guessing it's loose, or stripped...
