Default 2000 Sporster Sport Wiring Diagram

I bought a 2000 Sportster Sport with the Blockhead (EVO) engine (dual plug).
The last owner put 19's on it and hacked up the wiring. He chopped off the signal wires (he said he didn't believe in turn signals) removed them and even had the headlight directly wired to the fuse block with lite weight speaker wire ! She runs great inspite of his hack job. A buddy of mine is helping me put her back to rights. We got chrome 14's and original turn signals, new controls, and a new rear taillight. However, the wiring is a mess and my buddy I think is making excuses because he is in over his head. He put new bars on his 93 softtail and every nice day he is out riding it while my bike just sits. I need to light a serious fire under his ***. He did get the shorter clutch cable on and I bought all new chrome switches but he is stalled out. Is there a good resolution wiring diagram for my bike ? I found one but it is low res and can't be blown up for easier reading. He is going to run the control wires down through the bars which will make it much cleaner looking. The last guy used tie-wraps and black tape to hold it all together. There is a pic of one of the switches with the butcher job.
Can anyone help me ? I want my bike ready for spring but at the rate it is going I don't think it is going to be. Attached are pics of her. I just need some high rez diagrams that can be blown up to 8x10 or larger. I am about to get a trailer and go over and pick up the bike and take it to a shop and pay them to do it or go bike shopping ! I have serious PMS (Parked Motorcycle Syndrome)and the weather in Illinois is crap right now so there is some time before I go totally crazy.

You can try this link:
https://serviceinfo.harley-davidson.com/sip/index

Try the "SEARCH" button (top right)
Type "2001 Wiring"

If it works for you, then you can look at 2001 wiring diagrams for 2001 XL 883 which MIGHT be the same as your 2000 XL883. You can zoom in on the diagrams so that is a big help if you can get that far.

Thanks for the help. She is NOT an 883 though but a 2000 1200 Sport. I pulled the wiring diagrams for the 2001 which look like it. I tried the VIN number search but it didn't find it. I called the factory and they gave me 2 manual numbers to order. However, I just need the wiring diagrams. I bought her for $2000 because a "shade tree" bike shop needed some cash. My buddy said that there was something different about the bike because the jugs looked like his 93 Softtail. I knew there was something different because of the dual plugs and ignition. The factory told me about the Blockhead and that mine was one of 207 made. Did some reading online and can't find much of a mention about it....kinda like the engine that Harley wants to forget. Now I see that the Blockhead was put in the 99's to 2002's before it was put in the Buells. So.....how unique is my bike ? My buddy says it is a rare bike.....but he exaggerates everything.....like....."got all the wiring and tools laid out to finish your bike.....".....LOL.... Now that I have a wiring diagram...we are gonna have a sit down talk. He owes me big time for paying some electric bills when he was broke. I might have to handcuff him to the frame.....

Good luck. Glad you were able to find some info on that site. For some reason it offers wiring diagrams for a lot of years but then it also skipped a few. I don't think I've found any for 1999 or 2000. It does have a parts catalog for the 2000 Sporty models that you might find useful.
