Exclamation HELP!!! 2000 FXDL main wiring harness

Sorry I am new to the forum so please bare with me. Anyways I have a 2000 FXDL which I purchased a couple months ago. The guy had completely cut every sensor and was "rewiring" the whole bike. Needless to say he had a nest and couldn't figure it out. I bought a brand new main wiring harness with all the plugs and wrapped in protective sleeves. The wiring harness pretty much lays completely out and based off of the wiring diagrams I have looked at all the plugs are where they should be on the harness. My question is... can anyone post pictures of how their wiring is routed throughout the bike? I started messing with it tonight and I cannot figure out the best way to route this so that male and female ends meet each other in the right location. Thank you in advanced and sorry for the long post. Again please bare with me and I appreciate it.

Hi from the UK and welcome to HDF. If you don't have one, you really should get yourself a factory service manual. You won't find a single source of photos in it, but the wiring diagram and photos through the book will be a great help. You'll be lucky to find someone willing to dismantle their bike to take photos!

Okay thanks. I have the wiring diagrams I need. I am slowly getting this together. Summer break from college is coming in 2 weeks so hopefully I will be able to get it done that first week I am out. I was just getting impatient trying to feed wires around the bike. Thanks for the reply though! And the welcoming.
