Im searching around the web and its not clear to me if 2017 Sportsters have catalytic converters in the head pipes. Im sure you guys all know, so please allow me to ask that question to the group?

Remember, ive been riding a touring bike for the last 6 years and know the answer on those.

nice! I love my 48. I have a road king also. if i'm staying under 200 miles for the day i'm on the 48, if I'm doing more than 200, i'm on the road king. it works out to the 48 on the weekdays, road king on the weekends. good luck with it.

Fretted over it for days, but finally decided to order Rush Baloney Cut slipons with 1.75 baffles. Went with chrome. May try to install the stock heat shield over the top, not sure yet. Now just to wait.

Per Rush (and everything else Ive read), the 1.75" baffles would likely increase performance, whereas the 2" baffles wouldn't, but they would have a deeper tone.

Thank you sir! The blue is nice as well!

Got the Rush slipons today and installed them quickly. Went out for an hour ride and digging them! Not as deep as some (due to the smaller baffle), but it sounds like a real motorcycle now. Ha

Here are two quick pictures with the grips and Rush slipons. I really think the baloney cut looks awesome on this particular bike.

If it doesnt violate any rules, im just going to post whatever i feel like in this thread (on topic stuff.)

Here's a pic of me on my former 2010 48 and a pic of the day I traded it in on the 2011 Street Glide.

I absolutely hated the logo's on the tank. Hated them! Its nice to not have that problem this time around.

nice bike, i have the same one but hot rod red, i have only seen one of each and i live in Milwaukee wheres there's lots of dealerships so they aren't too common. most of them have the HD badge and a different graphic. so far ive done the stage one with S&S air cleaner and bassani radial sweeper exhaust. next is a spring seat and some taller bars. after about an hour my back gets sick of being hunched over to reach the stock bars. im looking at the HD Chizeled bars, just have to figure out what cables i need to change and get everything ordered. have fun picking out stuff for your bike
