Default SPDO Codes

Just got a 2014 XL1200C and the fuel light stays on all the time so I ran Diagnostics through the speedo and got two codes - 62272 and U0100. Does anybody know what they mean? I think they're historic because I cleared them and they didn't come back. Also, any ideas on the fuel light staying on? The bike has sat since March so float maybe stuck? I read here that a guy ran the float up with a hanger but I don't want to damage anything.

There is a "Sticky" post (always at the top of the forum) with the codes listed.

It seems the 2014 + Sportsters with CanBus have more codes-

Could the first one be B2272?

I'm guessing that the 6 is a b maybe. Anyway, I do think they're historic and not active. What is the BCM? Sure wish the fuel light worked right.

When you have a code displayed, push and hold in the speedo button until the word "clear" appears in the display. Do that for each of the codes. This will clear the stored codes. If they return after going for a ride, then you still have a problem.

Yes, your "6" is a b.

BCM is Body Control Module (I can't tell you what it does, it isn't explained in my Electrical Service Manual )

I could probably use a body control module! Charley, yes I had cleared them and they didn't return after running the engine for a minute. Do I need to ride it? It got cold and rainy today. Ok, the only issue now seems to be the low fuel light staying on. I've read a lot of Harley owners having this problem, but haven't found if there's a common thing causing it. Is there a typical culprit?
