Question Whats the best product to clean salty bike?

Hello,
I live in NYC and plan to ride through the winter. Needless to say the roads are pretty salty after it snows. What's the best way to wash my bike? and which products would you recommended to wash and get the salt off?

Thank you

H2O and Dawn liquid soap, do not use high pressure spray, nice and gentle.

Regardless, your bike may look like poopoo in a couple of years.

It's not worth it. You can't get all the salt out of the nooks and crannies. And this new crap will destroy your bike.
But your bike your choice. Soap and a lot of water, or this.

I live about 20 minutes from the Lincoln.. I was able to ride 2 days this past week, but the bike looks like crap. I wiped it down with poor results, I am just waiting for a warm day to wash it with plenty of water.. Salt is extremely water soluble, just use a lot to rinse it all off.

Salt Away

Works great. I keep it in a lawn sprayer in the garage.

Consider prevention with ACF-50. But, like someone else said, there's no way you can protect all the nooks and crannies. Corrosion is a bad thing.

I hadn't heard of it, but checked out your link. Looks similar to the ACF-50. I'd guess it would work the same.
