how to make it a bit quieter?
hi,
i have 2016 xl1200c with bafffle less screamin eagle exhaust with tti w258 installed. my pipes are too loud for me. is there any way to quieten them without adding baffles? i have tried installing tti in 90 degree, but still its too loud. i donot want to add baffles as dk customs say baffles reduces power due to back pressure. so want some advice from all experts here. thanks

DK is correct. Aside from baffles there's not much you can do to make them quieter. And the baffles won't help much unless you go with a stock exhaust. You will lose some power so you have to decide which matters most to you. Even with the baffles the screamin eagles are probably louder (and more annoying) than the TTI's. I know because I've tried both and am staying with the TTI's.

I'm no expert, but you could look into DK Customs Thunder Torque inserts. Should tame your mufflers a bit and boost your low end torque a bit. Here's a link.

Chaps, OP is in North Eastern India, so probably has limited access to stuff!
bp7 if you can find a secondhand pair of stock silencers or unmodified SE ones, that will be a simple solution. I don't hold with messing with add-on bits in silencers, they are not a proper solution IMHO. You could buy a set of new silencers from say the USA, but that may come with high shipping and import costs.
