Default Cobra 909 Speedster Exhaust Help

I'm getting conflicting answers as to whether this exhaust will fit with forward controls: https://cobrausa-vtwin.com/sportster...9_black/6705B/
I have a 2015 XL883N with forward controls and want to know if this exhaust will fit before I buy it and have it shipped. Does anyone have this installed with forward controls and can confirm fitment?

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

I did and this was the answer that I got:

Hello,
I'm thinking it might be pretty close. Since the bike came with mid-controls, that's how we fitted the bike, but some of the same pipes for the 48 Sportster and that bike comes with forward controls.
You can go to our web site and check out the pipes between the models.
Thank you and have a great day.

so not very definitive...

It looks like they will not fit by the amount of room in the picture you posted....I went out and looked mine over and unless your forwards are extended I don't think it will fit

That is definitive. 48 has forwards stock. Looking at the mangled sentence, the person is trying to say they put the pipes on a 48.

I guess I read it as they (Cobra) has (other) pipes that fit a 48 and that the 48 has forwards so take a look on the site and see which ones fit a 48.

You should ask them point blank: did you fit the Cobra 909 Speedster Exhaust on a 48?

I did and this is what I got back:
Hello,

Have you gone to our web site yet? Cobrausa-vtwin.com. here’s a link. We do everything here on a stock motorcycle, so if it came with forward controls from Harley, we would list the pipes. Most Sportster have the mid controls on them. If you add the aftermarket version forward controls from Harley, I can’t guarantee they will have clearance.

Please check out the links and then go from there.
