Used 2015 sportster with tune loaded from tts previous owner does not have module
this bike was running lean with short shots and stock air filter. I ordered the Roland Sands hi flow k&N and the v&h fp3. The way the bike was running I figured it was stock tune no prob. I sent e-mail with the codes to v&h today letting them know it would not take tune. He let me know v&h was locked out to tune. I can’t ride bike with the high flow af and need to get the fp3 tune on the ecu. What do I need to do? Any help feedback would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I was in a similar situation when I purchased my 2013 Road King. Fortunately, the PO had the TTS unit and gave it to me. I was able to return the other tuner I purchased for a refund.
TTS locks the ECM to their unit and only they can unlock the ECM by sending it to them and paying a fee. Your other option is purchasing a new TTS unit and downloading the ECM unlock utility from their website. Then you can load a new map and tune from there.
