like I said earlier I should just make a post. but I will answer here since you asked.
I used abs plastic, for one reason it takes heat better so being outside in the sun isnt an issue, pla is not good for heat. second you can glue together abs with abs juice/glue/slurry or whatever you want to call it. basically acetone/abs mixed. the acetone melts the abs then you can use that to glue abs parts together. the outer fairing was made in 5 pieces and inner was also 5 pieces. Glueing and alot of sanding and filling with abs glue. The outer fairing does have a layer of fiberglass resin done by the body guy/painter before final painting was done. There are downsides to abs, biggest being the warping of parts in the printing process.
The design was all done by me, the entire project probably has a couple hundred hours of design time. It went in stages as I changed the design as I originally designed for different speakers. I use PTC creo for all the design work.

New guy here. Been lurking, reading and researching for a long while now. Just recently finished up my winter makeover and wanted to share with some people that might appreciate the work put in. Here is my 2010 48. Not sure what to call it yet, maybe fat 48 sporty glide lol.
Game over, you win.
Looks great bro, the hard work you put into that is evident.
