So, if I only have 1" of sag between when it is (4 1/4" and 3 1/4" on the ground) in the air, and when the bike is sitting on the jiffy stand, is there any more length to be gained without new longer tubes? When I do get around to replacing the shocks, I WOULD like to keep the angles the same forhandlings sake.

Measure the sag with you sitting on your bike, as if you are about to ride away. As mentioned above I got a great deal more sag than only one inch. If you only have one inch while seated on it that is not quite enough and suggests you are very light, in which case you would be better off with new lighter springs.

Lol I wish I was that light. 5'7" and about 180lbs. I should be about 165 but thats another topic.
I will remeasure with me on it, which means the wife will have to do it. Still waiting on ome small part for my latches. I also got new buttons for the handlebar controls. Originals were rubbed out and unreadable. I need to get out and replace those today. Also still need to change oil and trans fluids. I have them but saddlebags were first, then the weather turned to crap, so today it has eased up, some, and I will try to catch up. I hope to have it fully ready to ride when thecweather clears.
I can ride it any time actually butvwantvit done.

Use a zip-tie around the tube above the slider, snug it up, but
not supertight. Then get on the bike, it'll get pushed up, then
measure the distance.
