Default Is this Black Pin Stripe Vinyl?

Do ya'll think this black stripe on the tank is vinyl that I could peel off?

Well, if its a factory paint job, its underneath the clear coat.

That appears to be paint to me. Although you could achieve that look with vinyl.

It looks factory so no..... Or maybe yes.... But definitely under the clear if it is factory. So no removing it without a lot of sanding. Its a fine looking bike.

if its not factory......try a hairdryer, it will peel off easy...............but why, it looks good

I dumped it in the rain and the mirror nicked it, now it's bothering the **** outta me. The outline looks to be under clear, but the matte doesn't...

Try a heat gun, should peel right off

Chips happen.
Get yourself an artist's size 00 brush and the grey and black colors.
Go slow over days (even weeks) building up the paint.
Sand gently and polish smooth.
Have fun.
