Default Mirror Recommendation

Hi All,
I flipped my mirrors on my 2016 Iron and loved them. But I just installed drag bars (which I love too) and now the stock mirrors are too low and not angled well. Can’t see anything except my knees and I tried all sorts of adjustments. I’d love to keep the flipped mirrors but worried it isn’t gonna work out with drag bars. Anyone with drag bars and flipped mirrors that work? Wider aftermarket mirrors perhaps? Perhaps I’ll flip them back but even flipped back I think wider mirrors would be better.

The bar end mirrors from DK Customs are supposed to work good with drag bars + they are cheap.

Mirror 91848-03B is the left hand side and 91846-03B is the right hand side. These mirrors have a longer stem but they also sit lower the handle bar.

Thanks for the reply. I'm not a huge fan of bar end mirrors, but indeed looks like these would do the trick.

Thanks. So these have a longer stem going width-wise? They look so close to stock that I'm wondering if they'll make a difference. Do you use these and have experience with them?

This is what I used. Worked well. About the same price as new mirrors, maybe a little cheaper.

That's correct. I have a 2017 SuperLow and it made a good difference for me.

Hopefully you can find a store with some in stock that can let you have a look.

I'm surprised you can't get get a good view with stock mirrors flipped on drag bars as I have an awesome view with mine that way, did you try adjusting the position of the mount and angle of the grip housing as well as the mirror head? It may be they changed the stock mirrors between 07 and 16 but I had to loosen and swivel the grip mount while adjusting the mirror stem and the mirror head but between all three I found the perfect spot.

Yes, I tried adjusting them multiple ways and couldn't find the sweet spot. I can try again. I'm running forward controls and am also 6'2. Not sure if that has anything to do with it.
