I live in California where there is strict emissions control.Does anyone know what kind of pollution equipment is onmy Sportster 1200R as sold in California? Is there some equipment on my bike thats not on a bike sold in another less strict state? Or, is it just how the bike is dialed in? ... if there is extra stuff, can it be removed easily and what ramifactions are therein doing so? Not that I want to removeanything per say... just wondering.

 

What year? EFI started in '07 - that looks like an '07 to me. I have an '07repair manual(and the same bike as yours, in Oregon) - I don't recall seeing any CA-only items.
