Default 06 sporty rear lighting

While out for a ride on my custom 06 883xl,I lost all power and my bike died,a passerby helped with a multimeter,I traced the problem to a "module, circuit board?" The rear lights all run thru it and it had grounded due to poor wire routing after the custom work,I have tried to find this " device" in my workshop manual, and parts catalog, but no luck,it's not the tssm but a small rectangular plug with foam backing and a circuit board, the turn signals and brake light are wired thru this as I suspect? What's the name or designation of this device? Anybody?

The info you need is at Ronnie's parts finder...fortunately that "CIRCUIT BOARD/COVER ASSEMBLY" should be available and it is not expensive...

Could be to make your brake light strobe?
Could be a load balancer?
Do you have any led lights on the bike?
A picture might help too.

Did you get the bike new? Did the PO modify the lights? Does it only have turn signals that operate as run/stop/turn? Is there any markings on the module?

Default Rear lighting

The PO used various parts on another project, this module is a junction do the rear lighting but has a circuit board,I don't know how to get a pic.on here but will try to find out and thanks for the response guys I have ran a brake light from external switch could not wire the pressure switch for the rear brake, either bad or wired thru the tssm I've been researching the wiring and I beleive that the module is a junction for the same,I will try again to run it down in my service manual before I bother you guys with incomplete info,I'm stumped

I've read that the tssm would stop the turn signals and brake lights, the turn signals I unhooked in hope of the brake lights working( no luck) but the turn switches started activating the dash accessory lights to the blinkers when I unhooked them so there is a problem there, aftermarket,I will seek factory turn lights and try to see if this helps altho the module in question is damaged

Stop them what? Your last post is a bit confusing.
