Sportster custom lower riser
Hi guys
I have a Sportster Custom 2006 and I would like to replace the original riser. I want to move the handlebar a bit backward because I don't like the curve of the original riser. I would like to install short risers, but then the speedometer doesn't have enough space because the tank is in the way. I wanted to ask how you solved this without buying a new speedo. Thank you

You could go with a setup from the non-Custom Sporties like a Nightster or 1200 Low. I'm pretty sure the other bikes use the same part # 55847-05A is in black and 55846-05A is chrome. Just install the speedo and idiot lights into the new housing. You can find them on Fleabay or your dealer might be able to get them. These will put the speedo in front of the bars.
I kind of like it on my '11 Custom as it hides all the wires and cables. I changed to fat bars with more rise and pullback and internal wiring for a clean look.
