00 XL1200C riser change.
Hi , I'm looking to get rid of the ugly riser block on my Sportster Custom XL1200C. The stock riser puts the handlebar about 5.5 " above the triple tree. I like the looks of the 6" with one inch pull back risers. My question is will the speedo hit the tank. On Custom Sporty the speedo attaches to the front of the handle bar clamp. Anyone ever changed risers and kept speedo in original placement ?
