The ECM on my 2011 XL883N failed after 1500 miles in 2013, the motor was only running on the front cylinder, it was still covered by the 24 month warranty by six weels. I contacted Leeds H-D, they collected the Iron 883 from my home and installed a new ECU under the factory warranty.

If it was out of the warranty period, I would have had to pay Leeds H-D, £600 for the ECM and installation.

Oh, I feel like I'll have to pay way more in 2024 than this if it's the ECM's fault.
I received the bike yesterday, and the ECM looks different from what was suggested.
After 1.5 years of owning my 2010 Custom 1200 Sportser, I got the impression that around 2010 was the "worst" possible year for Sportster because there were a lot of changes between models. Every time I try to buy a part for the bike, 80% of the time, it won't fit.

Sorry, the ECM for sale on eBay was for 2016 -2022 Sportster models.

I f you have trouble finding a 32140-08A, it was superseded by 32534-11, that is the part number in the 2010 parts catalogue.

It is possible that some 2010 Sportsters used one or the other of the above depending on whether they were early or late season models.
