Hello everyone- I'm working on my 1990 1200 sportster. After I replaced the carb, I cracked the plastic threads when tightening the enrichener cable to the mount by the ignition switch. Is there a cheap way to repair this effectively or am I doomed to try and find a new cable assembly? Thanks in advance

 

I think there's little you can do other than replace it. Go to J&P's website (or catalog if you have one) and get a metal one. I know Iv'e seen them but not positive it's J&P, but it's a place to start.
