Default Solo seat & Backrest

2003 883
Hello, everyone!

I need a backrest and solo seat, and the only one I see is the Mustang, and it is about $700.
Anyone know of a better option?

I also have a 2011 Electra Glide Ultra with a backrest and at 72 years old, it is the only way I can ride for over an hour.

Thanks everyone!

I've got a solo Saddlemen with the removable backrest. Have you checked with them? OOPS! Looks like no-go for an '03. How about wearing a back brace when riding?

The mustang option is the only one I know of.

The Revzilla website shows the seat for ~$380, and indicates that a backrest is available but
it does not show the part number for the backrest.

https://www.revzilla.com/motorcycle/...?sku_id=865303

EDIT: wow, just looked up the backrest and Mustang is proud of it - it is indeed a $300 option.

hth,

T.

You might try contacting some of the seat makers, like C&C, Corbin and LePera. Corbin and LePera are firm seats, so not sure if you like that. They are all pricey, but maybe not as pricy as Mustang.
