Not As far as fit.. me on the bike... what do you guys think?

I've never been a big fan of the Fat Boy. I don't care for the "solid" wheels andmy preference is forthe staggerd dual exhausts, or at a minimum,a full length pipe on each side of the bike for exhaust. That being said, my friend has a Fat Boy and I do like the ride. I just can't get into its looks.

 

I like it.... but I maybe a little partial -

Thumper, I kinda agree with you.... I like the staggered exhaust look also - to me it's Harley..... I was waffling between a Fatboy and a Heritage. I bought an '08 Fatboy..... I found I dis-liked the larger fenders and bagsmore than the exhaust, and after a meeting with the Tech service guys, I found out the staggered exhaust from another Softail will fit the Fatboy. so... I'm now in the market for a stock set of take-offs.

 

Looks like the bike fits you good Jim. What did you think of the ride compared to the sporty?

 

Now, you just might be able to change my mind about Fat Boys with that bike! No offense - I still don't like the "solid" wheels, but except for that little detail, yours is sure a real good looker to me!

 

You're on the right track lookin' for the staggard exhaust, but the wheels still bug me. Also, what's more classic than the full valanced fenders on a BT Harley? And how you gonna' justify goin' out for that quart of milk and loaf of bread on the bike without the bags? My buddy hassmall bags on his Fat Boy and he'd be lost without what he carries in there! I guesssome morereasons the Fat Boy doesn't wind my clock, but that's what makes this world so great - different strokes for different folks. I guess I'm just stuck in the past.
