I priced the kit today for like 1350 for the parts to install a 200... that doesn't include the tire, or the rim mind you... I don't think you'll get away for under 2k even if you do your own work.

I didn't check to see if you would still be able to use a standard belt to drive it... all of the pics I've seen show a chain.

It looks great but the price is prohibitive

are you going to go with a rigid setup? I've seen 200 series but they all have a chain. The rim size is usually 18"x5.5" Good luck bro..... I was thinking about a similar project in the future

i've seen a few "kits" on e-bay. Try searching "dragon wide tire" on google.

I think AME does wide tire kits. They also do Chopper kits.

It's a bunch of money to do the conversion for a bike that will corner like crap, but if looks are what you are after, go for it.

agreed, if all you want is show then go for it! but if you still plan to ride the bike more than bar to bar, then you're wasting your money.

http://www.ledsledcustoms.com/ if it's been done to a sportster, these guys have probably done it. Check em out.

The short wheelbase combined with the wide rear/skinny front tire combo will tend to "push" through the curves. You can pretty much count out carving the twisties as part of your dailyride wiht that set-up.

Like said before, it will push your bike, thats why you see street bikes that come with a 180-190 rear tire come with a 130 front. My buddies R1 front tire is as wide as my stock rear tire.
