07FI or06CARB

Which is better 07FI or 04to06 carb. 883-1200 I just bought 07 xl883l like the bike. BUT on a carb model there is more you can do yourself trouble shooting ,pipes ,air intakes,jetting carbs. You dont have to go to dealer for remapp with carb model. I should of got an 06

Personally, I prefer carbs. EFI is certainly the future on all Harleys and I don't think there can be any doubt that at some point, EFI will be the best to have. IMHO, that time is not yet here...

Want to do lots of mods...carb is better
Want to leave it mostlystock...EFI is better

I've had enough time and effort put into the carb on my El Camino, I'm more than happy to have the reliability of the EFI on my favorite form of transportation.

You got that right. Keep it simple. Too bad that the mechanics of bikes and cars has evolved so much that people need specialists to work on them.
