It does amaze me at times the stupid, ignorant things people will say. To hear that a fellow Harley owner would trash talk another Harley owner's bike ... well, it's just unbelieveable.
One thing I like here on this forum is that for the most part, even people that ride other "bigger" models have respect for the Sportsters.
And also, even though there IS some trashing of, let's say, ricers ... the other thing that comes across is that again, most people here agree that when it comes right down to it seriously, the important thing is that you're RIDING ... It doesn't matter what.

Just don't let it bother ya, I've seen way too much of this lately. I just can't understand why everyone thinks the only bike out there is they one they ride. The sportster is an excellent bike and there are times that I miss mine. In my opinion the sporty with a good set of pipes makes a better note then the big twins do. I just switched to a bagger because of the miles I was riding and needing more space to pack things.
