Default Pics of the Cross Bones

Went to the dealer to check it out. Took some pics with the cell. It's a pretty cool bike.

When I went to the dealer today, they had one on the floor also. I sat on it. Sat tooo high for me. Other than that, that is one bad bike!

I've never seen a Cross Bones in person, but according to published HD specifications the 'laden seat height' (height of the seat with a 180 pound rider sitting on it) is only 1/10th of an inch higher than the 1200C.

(26.5" for the 1200C, 26.6" for the Cross Bones).

The 'unladen' seat height is higher than the 1200C (30.2" for the Cross Bones, 28.0" for the 1200c), but spring mounted seats compress more under weight that a seat that is mounted to the frame.

The girls at the counter said the seat height could be adjusted. It looked like it was all the way up.
