Default Switching to LED's

I am switching my turn/ brake lights ti LED's this weekend. For those of you who have done this, are there any tricks or is it pretty straight forward? I am putting in Genesis Bullet LED Turn Signals and Badlands Load Equalizer III.

I have heard it is pretty straight forward.

I switched to Mini bullets last spring. It was a straight forward switch and the load equalizer is a simple install as well. I couldn't see anyone screwing it up unless they are colorblind and couldn't tell the colors of the wires...

I didn't need any load eq 'cause I only swithced the turn signals and turn signal/tail light bulbs to standard 1157 led's. They work great and are very bright (using the red led's in the rear with smoked lenses). My wife's bulbs, initially, were blinking a bit faster than normal but are working properly now.

I am color blind.. really, but I can tell the difference in colors. Not concerned about the install just checking to see if there are any tricks to save some time.

I will let you all know how it goes. Thanks

I don't have any experience with that particular install, but hopefully you have a jack.

Working with the turn signals, especially the left side, is a PITA with the bike on the kickstand. It certainly is possible without a Jack, I've done it both with and without a jack.

I use a jack when ever I do any work on the bike. I agree it seems to make everything so much easier.
