Default Vance &Hines Slip on Mufflers

Question for everyone do I need to have my 1200c efi remapped , when install these on the bike , and if so do I have to do it rightaway&nbsp\\;

With slips you shouldn't need to adjust anything.

I put the slips on my 883L and it's perfect.&nbsp\\; The guy at the dealer said not to worry about having to mess with anything unless you notice a lot of backfire after install.&nbsp\\; I haven't had it backfire once.

So to answer your question, you shouldn't have to anything except install unless you notice backfiring after install.&nbsp\\; But chances are you should be ok.

My 883R ran OK with just the V&amp\\;H slip-ons fitted (standard air cleaner), although there&nbsp\\;was some popping on deceleration and the engine ran pretty hot.

I don't think the MoCo provide a remap for slip-ons alone, only for slip-ons plus higher flow air cleaner.

The air cleaner is the key..u should get em both and if ur baffles r correct that should be enuff..Usually but not always..
